Marvel at spectacular scenery and the exquisite carvings of internationally renowned Inuit artists. • Tourism information The Nunavik Information Centre occupies the ground floor of Nunavik House, a building owned by the Makivik Corporation in the heart of historic Quebec City. The role of the Centre is to promote Nunavik among Quebecers and the many tourists who visit Quebec City every year. Visitors to the Centre may obtain information about Nunavik's fourteen Northern villages and other tourism destinations, Inuit art and food products available commercially as well as services delivered by regional organizations and businesses. The Centre is managed by the Kativik Regional Government. The Nunavik Information Centre was established in Quebec City through a subsidy paid by the Québec Department of Economic and Regional Development to the Kativik Regional Government and through the contributions of several other partners including the Nunavik Tourism Association, the Federation of Cooperatives of Northern Québec and the Avataq Cultural Institute.
